Muhamad Chatib Basri, a former Minister of Finance of Indonesia and former Chairman of the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board. Dr Basri serves on the National Economic Council, Indonesia’s leading advisory body, composed of academics, business leader,  investment banker and former senior government officials.

The council’s primary role is to provide the President with policy recommendations on economic issue. Dr. Basri currently also serves as the Co-Chair of the Pandemic Fund (Financial Intermediary Fund for Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness, and Response) hosted by the World Bank with technical support from WHO.
